Who wants to be Girl Talk?
I thought it would be interesting to post my blog on a program called AudioMulch because it is very relevant to the movie we just watched on Girl Talk. This program allows for any one to become a mash up artist, whether they want to make a career out of it or just mess around with music for fun. What I really like about this program is that it allows you to download a free trial where you have almost full access to the program for sixty days. With today's advancement in technology and the web I feel like this has allowed users more access to a larger number of programs. Programs such as this let your average consumer "test" out the product to decide whether it is worth purchasing.

Sony Acid is another great sound editing program. I'd highly recommend the trial if anyone who is interested.
ReplyDeleteIts really great when you can use software on trial for that long, but then you have to eventually purchase it. Im not sure if there are any open source programs out there, but it would be great if there were!
ReplyDeleteI've used Sony Acid before come to think of it, it was fun, but I will leave the music making up to others. I would like to see more open source programs for music editing and such because some of these programs are getting super expensive because they can do so much.
ReplyDeleteThis is really cool but it would be nice if it was a completely open source software program. But i guess even people like Girl Talk need a way to stay on top of things and allowing this not to be open source allows for less compitition
